YOU PUT YOUR FROZEN DINNER IN A BOX
EAT YOUR DINNER FROM A BOX
TAKE A CIGARETTE FROM A BOX
LIGHT IT WITH A MATCH FROM A MATCHBOX
SWITCH OFF THE BOX
SLEEP IN YOUR BOX
AND DREAM OF HAVING MORE TIME
TO LIVE YOUR LIFE
REPEAT UNTIL YOU ARE CARRIED OFF IN A WOODEN BOX
WE DO THIS TO KEEP OUR BRICK BOX AND OUR METAL BOX
LOOKING NICE AND KEPT IN WORKING ORDER.
OR JUST SO WE DON'T HAVE TO LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX.
AND WE SPEND MOST OUR TIME IN ONE BOX TO PAY FOR THE BOX WE'RE
NOT IN
AND A METAL BOX TO GET US THERE WHICH WOULDN'T BE NECESSARY OTHERWISE!
The above describes the majority of
people who have
the 'luxury' of working for a living.
As we all know too many people are already living in a cardboard box.
That
doesn't make them any less worthy than anyone
else.
If these people had a purpose and some slight
hope of bettering their lives
I'm certain they would gladly
get up and WALK.
The rest of us behave like either machines or zombies, repeating
the same daily grind and routine.
You only have one life and a short time to live it, what on earth are
we doing?
