SEVEN CELESTIAL BODIES

THE SUN
THE MOON
SATURN
JUPITER
MARS
VENUS
MERCURY
These seven celestial bodies have significant
importance in that they were the only ones visible to the naked eye.
In ancient times these celestial bodies were considered to be Gods and
were worshipped.
Days of the week
were named after them and their movements
accross the sky determined our time on earth as days, weeks, months and
years. As the sun and the moon do directly affect our lives and in fact
life itself, it makes sense that they were so highly regarded and respected
by ancient civilisations.
The sun is the bringer of life.
Considering the size and distance between the Earth and the Sun and the
Moon,
isn't it a strange coinsidence that the moon can appear to be exactly
the same size
and cover the sun completely during a solar eclipse.
What are the chances of that happening, eh?
