STAN & MABEL
Let me tell you the fable
Of Stan and Mabel
And the time they bought a new kitchen table
But lift it home they weren't able
So they went to fetch a length of cable
Then headed towards the farmer's stable
and tied a horse to the leg of the table
securely with the length of cabel
A
crow had watched them from the gable
and saw from Stan's Jumper stuck a label
Look out Stan! shouted Mabel
As the crow swooped down to grab Stan's label
The horse it reared and kicked poor Mabel
She flew straight over the length of cable
And pinned poor stan between her and the table
The horse it bolted back to it's stable
Swishing behind it's tail of sable
It jumped a wall but wasn't able
The horse stopped dead but not the table
Crushing Stan and squashing Mabel
So that's the end of this
sad fable
and the end of Stan & Mabel
