BILL & BEN

The Police are cracking down on people carrying weapons.

This guy looks a little suspect, never mind a knife, he's got a machine gun!
If he looked in a mirror he would arrest himself.

One things for sure, if I was on guard from an unknown enemy,
I wouldn't want to make myself such an obvious target??
Spot the policeman. A sniper could already have him in his sights?
look at what's around him. A hundred windows, a clock tower, bushes, a grassy knoll.
He's a sitting duck, whilst his enemy is invisible! It could be anyone.

"Mr. City Policeman sitting pretty little policemen in a row "
The Beatles (I am the Walrus)

"In the city there's a thousand men in uniform
And I've heard they now have the right to kill a man"

The Jam (In the City)

Where will it all end?...and what defines a weapon?

Anyone can use anything at hand as a lethal weapon at anytime.
David killed Goliath with a stone from the ground!
a little guy killed a huge giant with something so simple and handy.

Many people can kill with their bare hands, should they be tied up?
Or do you trust that they probably won't attack us if we just don't provoke them?

The point being, it is not the weapon that is the dangerous thing
it's the person who has intent to use the weapon and if that person has such an intent then they will find a way, but the real problem here the increased fear-mongering and mistrust that is being generated by the government these days,
both in the UK and the States, it makes everyone feel uneasy and unsafe. Everyone is mistrusted by each other to the point where no one can even each other in the eye anymore, The London tube is a perefect example of that
"anyone could be a terrorist, a rapist, a killer, a nutter!"
It is irrational fear instilling irrational fear onto others, It is the most basic of primeval fears, being afraid of the unknown - the darkness.

Not so long ago, people left their doors unlocked and even open
without the fear of being burgled. Do we call this Progress?

Once you used to be able to ask a policeman for directions,
but now you'd better be careful how you approach one!

Having armed police on guard doesn't make anyone feel safer, quite the opposite!
We all know what happens when someone has an itchy trigger finger.
Take the incident where police shot and killed a man because he was holding a table leg that 'they' mistook for a gun. I wouldn't want my kids to get in the way of gun shoot-out on the street! Not to mention the Jean Charles Menezez massacre. An innocent man shot SEVEN times in the head, all because of fear, mistrust and an itchy triggers.

I'm sure that if there was such a threat of terror then something on the scale of 9/11 would be happening on a daily basis. After all all that took was the intent, a knife and the element of surprise.

The Government has spent millions of pounds on a 12 year investigation into what happened at Bloody Sunday, I can tell you for nothing...some scared person had an itchy trigger finger!

The most effective way to win a war is not to participate, be your own person, believe in whatever you want to believe in, don't take sides. Your views may differ from the next persons but that doesn't make you right and the other person wrong, you can always agree to differ. Do what your own concience dictates to you and you won't go wrong.

LIVE & LET LIVE

The less interference we have from outsiders in our lives the more time we will all have to live our lives happily and help others. Some feel they need to impose their will and fears upon us in order to control us but the result will be that people will always rebel against it for their right to be free from oppression
.

Interference

ACTION = REACTION
NO ACTION = NO REACTION

Society needs to ask itself 'If these problems being solved by thousands of years of man's law and an ever stricter regime, or are they being caused by it? Is armed police on the streets an advancement of our civilzation?

Many crimes are the direct result of poverty. As far as I can see the, we have over-crowded jails, with parking tickets and tv licence dodgers and people who can't meet the unrealsitic bills emposed on them by greedy corporations. But depending on who you are, and how rich you are, you can avoid justice all together.

The most powerful weapons of all are things that always on your posession.
Your mind, your eyes, your tongue and your will power.
These are all you need to reflect and dispel any negativity or interference in the world.

Don't be a victim of bullys and the bullys will have no one to victimise.
Don't be a follower and the leaders will have no one to control
Don't be a subject and the Monarchy will have no one to rule over.
Your heart is free have the courage to follow it.

They say the pen is mighter than the sword, very true!
words and images can be just as cutting and their is nothing more powerful than the truth.

We must stop and learn from our past mistakes made through history
which seems to be endlessly repeating itself.
But we all seem to have memories like goldfish- yesterdays news = todays chip wrappers.
But, somethings just linger on and won't be forgotton tomorrow.

Fighting has no positive results, just endless chaos.

A man punches his brother, his brother picks up a stick,
the first man then picks up a rock, etc, etc, etc.. until the planet is nuked!

We all want a peaceful life but this society of fear, lies and mistrust, dog eat dog and one up manship, everyone sticking their noses in everyone elses business whilst missing out on their own lives, is very wrong.

George Orwell's nightmare vision in Nineteen Eighty Four
is here and now!

The misinstry insists that the lies are true and that the war is endless,
we are forced to agree that 2 + 2 = 5 or else.
CCTV, Phone tapping, thought crimes, censored news, legalised brutality,
identity cards and enless security numbers, newspeak,
unwanted crap being forced upon us continually.

"the future is a human boot stamping on a human face for eternity"

is that where we are heading or are we being lead by the dogs
and are we going to the dogs?

"Goons on the landing, Theives on my trail,
Nazi's on my telephone willing me to fail.
They were all sent by someone Obviously you
But if you'll be my enemy, I'll be your enemy too!"

Be My Enemy- The Waterboys (This is the sea)

To love your enemy and turn the other cheek makes good sense,
it means you don't compete and so you have already won the battle with your dignity intact.
Your enemy can't defeat you if you don't fight.
